Blue Knight Labs has the easiest to understand color chart on their website. I have the link above. In the pairing of Bromley and Ebony we have two black dogs that both carry yellow. The genetics predicts that 25% will be cream (this is not an exact science). Bromley is also a carrier of EIC which is a genetic disease that is common in labs. He is a carrier and not afflicted. However it is imperative to always and only breed him to girls who are clear of EIC so that none of their pups are affected. There is a 50/50 chance that the pups will be carriers but will not suffer from the disease.
