Winnie just wants luv'ns and reassurance. We let her know that we are here for her. Dogs have a 63 day gestation but often birth before that. Winnie is 63 days on the 7th of October so we need to be vigilant. Whelping is both one of my favorite times and one of the most frightening times. If things go well it is marvelous and fun but if things get rough then we have to be ready to move fast. I hope and pray that it all goes smoothly for Winnie.
