Athena is due on the 18th and is coming to stay with us and settle in before whelping. She and Bromley are sure to have lovely pups. FAST FORWARD: We get her home from Potomac Montana and she goes into labor almost as soon as she is in the whelping room. The average dog pregnancy is 63 days but it isn't unheard of to go on day 58 so we wanted to bring her at least a week before her due date and I am glad we did. She gave birth on day 56 and all the pups are doing great!
